- The World Models is soon releasing an ARF, Almost Ready to Fly, radio controlled model of a Tempest Mk. V. The first photos show a Tempest Mk. V marked JF-E mixed with Mk.II serials, SEAC ID markings and equipped with missiles!

- I have the sad duty to inform you all that we have lost a great Tempest pilot. No. 486 Squadron Leader Jim Sheddan passed away on 9th December, aged 92, after a short illness. Rest in peace Jim. Thanks to Brian Umbers for the information.

- Just read on Kermit Weeks Blog:
"I continue on to London to check on the final stages of my Hawker Tempest V project, which we are bringing up to displayable condition. Everything has been rebuilt to airworthy standards but we are currently just trying to get it displayable for Fantasy of Flight. I have two Napier Sabre engines for it and one day hope to make it fly!"

- Tom Woodhouse reports about the latest progress of EJ693. Well, he did in July....
- SD-M(EJ603) crashed on 23rd September 1944 caused by engine failure. The pilot bailed out, and parts of the aircraft was dug up in the 1980s.
