From Richard Caruana I got these lovely photos. It´s a serie of original black/white slides, meant for recognition purposes, of an air-to-air Tempest photo shoot. The card mount (rather thick) carried the aircraft type's name, together with the reference number as seen on the photos, and the manufacturer's name: 'Newton & Co. Ltd., London'. The three first photos is of the second Mk II prototype LA607, today owned by Kermit Weeks. The last two photos is HM595, former Mk V prototype, but here as the Mk. VI prototype.
