The two photos below were taken by Peter R Arnold at the International Alloys circa 1958. They show several wrecks of Tempests. Serial EJ660 is visible in one them. Possible codes on the fuselages are 30 and 87. EJ660 started it's life as a Mk.V but here as a Mk.V TT. On January 23 1945 F/O Vassilios "Vass" Vassiliades shot down two Focke Wulf 190s plus a third damaged while flying EJ660. This took place 10 miles west of Gütersloh.
